OUR IMPACT

We were blessed to be able to donate money towards the cost of meals for the hockey team during their time in St. Paul, MN while competing and securing their 2nd straight State Hockey Championship!

We were able to support Caleb Mosley and his family during his recovery from a sudden and severe medical emergency that happened while at school in Williston, ND. Caleb suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and thanks to the quick action by staff and the help of an emergency device he is now recovering and back at school. On Monday, November 17, 2025, Gracie Albrecht had successful heart transplant surgery! Gracie was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy at just 4 months old. She struggled with the effects of this condition for ten years and when she found out she needed the transplant she responded with "Finally I will get a new heart! Now I can do everything my mind wants to do, but my body won't let me!" Gracie is truly an inspiration!

We were able to provide Carissa, her daughter Rayna and her son Skyler with a monetary donation and some gifts for the kids before they left for Masonic Children's Hospital in Minneapolis. Rayna has a heart condition that will require surgery to widen the main pulmonary artery of her heart. Jenna Askvig had the opportunity to share Ethan's story and our mission on North Dakota Today. We are so appreciative of the opportunity to spread the word about Ethan and the impact he has had and will continue to have on the surrounding community. 

We were honored to help Hendrix Enkelaar, a 14 year old boy from West Fargo, and his family. Hendrix recently had to get a heart transplant after a routine sports physical revealed a congenital heart defect - a bicuspid aortic valve. We supplied him with some of his favorite things to help pass time and lift him up while he remains in Rochester. We know how a whole family can be affected by a member’s health, so to spread joy throughout, we included Hendrix’s parents and his brothers, Harrison and Sawyer, in the gift giving.

Ethan was a foodie, so it was only right that Ethan's Heart was able to donate money towards the cost of meals during the team's time in St. Paul while they captured their 1st State Hockey Championship!

Jenna had the opportunity in early May to speak on behalf of Ethan's Heart at the Rock From The Heart Aortic Health Symposium in Moorhead, MN.
